Zimbabwe
These bold coffee beans, with a high proportion of AA beans, are growing in the scenic Eastern Highlands city of Mutare, the heartland of Zimbabwe's coffee growing region. This 100% pure African coffee is made from some of the finest Arabica beans grown in Zimbabwe and it comes from a tradition of expert grading, liquoring and blending.
Coffee is an intensively managed, 'hands on' crop in Zimbabwe. The coffee is selectively picked, fermented and sun dried on the farm, before being graded and bagged for export.
This coffee has the clean acidity found in its East African counterparts such as Tanzania and Kenya. Similarly to these coffees this Zimbabwean coffee exhibits the dark chocolate and winey flavours but with a much stronger body and lingering taste.
By taking this coffee just into the second crack, resulting in a light-medium roast, a balance between the acidity and the body of the coffee is achieved.
A rich, sweet coffee that will cater to most palates, especially those who enjoy the traditional characteristics of African coffees.
An enjoyable cup for the discerning coffee drinker!
Enjoy
