MRS JONES

Denmark, tucked away on the south coast, has long been known for its beautiful inlet, bushwalking and fine wines. More recently the area has embraced its amazing local produce and developed a thriving foodie culture. However, one thing that was a bit hit & miss for many years in town was the coffee, until now!

In October 2011, Ali Osborne fulfilled her culinary dream and opened the doors to Mrs Jones, a cafe focussing on serving (in her own words) fresh, delicious, honest food along with great wine and, of course, fantastic coffee. And it’s here that we came on board, providing Ali and her team with beautifully roasted Organic coffee to brew up on their swanky new 3 group Expobar Diamant.

What impressed us most about Ali, and Mrs Jones, was their obvious enthusiasm and absolute commitment to sourcing the best ingredients and providing their customers with a great eating and drinking experience. These are precisely the businesses we want to develop long term relationships with, and we’re proud to say that Mrs Jones is off to a flying start. And, as if we needed any more convincing, they have Bloody Marys as a standard breakfast item – these are our kind of people!!!

With dishes like ‘Lemon curd, berry, pistachio brioche’, ‘Turkish eggs, roasted pumpkin, chorizo & lentils’ and ‘Pork loin, sweet soy, ginger, fresh egg noodles & asian greens’ we’ve already pencilled in a weekend to make the pilgrimage down to Denmark and experience a little of Mrs Jones magic. We would encourage Yahava fans, and fans of great local produce, to do the same!!!
