Travel Diaries ~ South Western India
Koffee Purist, Junkie & The Apprentice are heading off on their first trip to origin. On Sunday, January 29th, the Yahava crew will be flying out to Bangalore for 10 days touring coffee, tea and cacao plantations throughout south-western India.
This is what it’s all about – travelling to where our beans are grown, meeting amazing people, exploring the landscape and understanding plantation processes to help us source, roast and brew better coffee. Just as importantly, we want to take you along on the journey with us, because it’s all part of the Yahava story.

Yahava Premium Series ~ YEMEN ISMAIL MOKHA
The Ismail Mokha is superbly aromatic and simultaneously smooth and piquant. Not to be confused with the Matari or Sanani from the same region, the Ismail has more body and fine acidity. Cultivated today much as it has been for 400 years and grown at very high altitudes, production is limited and very costly but certainly worth every penny. Arguably described as the finest cup of coffee in the world it is therefore a natural inclusion in the Yahava Premium Series.

Specialty Estate ~ Bundja, Northern NSW
Each month Yahava sources and enjoys access to small quantities of some of the worlds rarest and finest ARABICA beans which we make available to our most descerning coffee enthusiasts. It seems only fitting really - it’s summer, the BBQ’s a firing, the beers are cold and we’re all dreaming of being at the beach rather than being stuck in front of a coffee roaster…….hmmmmmm!!! And, in the lead up to Australia Day, we thought it would make sense to release a Specialty Estate coffee to show that it’s not just BBQ’s and beers that Australians excel at. Read more...
